Volunteers & Members

The Service encourages a broad membership base of people who live, work or study in the City of Moonee Valley. The Committee of Management bears the ultimate responsibility for the operation of the Service. The Committee of Management board consists of  members each of whom are elected at the Annual General Meeting, with the Committee members meeting at least once a month.

The Moonee Valley Legal Service relies heavily on volunteers to provide service provision to the local community. Our service usually has around 50 volunteers working with us, from the Committee of Management to Pro Bono Solicitors to regular Administrative and Legal Support.
